The Amica isn't a car designed to ignite the senses, nor is it one which is able to serve much purpose beyond simply getting someone from A to B, but it is incredibly inexpensive (to buy and run), durable and relatively pleasant. Under the bonnet there is a frugal 1.1 litre engine that is unsurprisingly light on power, but light on running costs, too. Ride is decent enough, although on uneven surfaces, much of the road can be felt in the cabin. Handling is capable without being exceptional. A high centre of gravity brings about plenty of body roll, but at lower speeds and around city roads it copes okay. There's little to get overly excited about in the Amica, but for anyone looking for a purely utilitarian, affordable car, the Amica is one of the best.
