Never owned a Suzuki before but bought the Liana 7 years ago as new. This car is worryingly reliable, never had any trouble whatsoever over the years. It performs well and is a dream to drive. 1600cc is just right as it is able to gather speed easily at the right times. The boot area is huge, seats are comfortable with plenty of leg and head room. Included in the new price (in 2006) of £9999 is all electric windows and mirrors, CD, air-conditioning, 1600 engine, seat adjusters, etc, etc. I hardly ever see these cars on the road so we are a rare breed! Suzuki do not make them anymore....shame. A great and roomy family car and most importantly....RELIABLE!
After 13 years this car has passed every NCT (MOT) by a wide margin and I expect will continue to do so for many years to come. Only part ever replaced was a €50-00 Lambda sensor. ABS, Door locks, electric windows, wiper linkage etc. still function as new (VW & Renault could do well to source their parts wherever Suzuki gets theirs) The engine has been ultra reliable . My only crib is, it is not the most economical engine in the world at about 41mpg but you buy a lot of fuel for the money saved in trips to the garage. very nice interior. My next car will definitely be a Suzuki
We've had our car for nine years now. traveled the four corners of the UK every year, and also Denmark. To date we have never had a breakdown (touch wood) that's because she (the car)has a service every year. The Motto is look after your car and your car will look after you.
We've had no trouble with her, we have never had a breakdown. She (the car)is regularly serviced and she has traveled a lot of miles. Only time she has a rest is on the vary when we travel to Denmark
Absolute reliability for a reasonable cost. Regular servicing means miles of safe motoring without opening the bonnet!
Unbelievably reliable. A little bit thirsty when it comes to fuel consumption.
Too small for my needs. Going to change for an estate car soon.
