Vehicle details
The Nissan Juke is one of the cars that really popularised the genre of supermini-sized SUVs when it launched back in 2010. Riding on the success of the larger Qashqai, the Juke has sold well through the near-decade it's been on sale. This is despite the market changing hugely – while at launch, it had barely any rivals, now it has many. Talented cars such as the Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur, SEAT Arona and Mazda CX-3 all compete with the Juke – and as more modern vehicles, they tend to beat it at its own game. A big appeal to Juke buyers – and indeed to most who are considering a compact SUV – is the high-set driving position. Not only does it allow you to feel as though you're lording it over other traffic, it aids forward visibility and can make it easier to get into and out of the car. In this respect, it's easy to see why the Juke appeals, as it's very comfortable for those in the front with a high hip point and supportive seating.
