Vehicle details
PROS Great value for money, attractive styling, good fun to drive, affordable running costs This is the fast and fun version of the Suzuki Swift. It's powered by a 1.6-litre VVT engine and while it's not the quickest, fastest or most powerful hot hatch on the market, it is one of the most fun to drive. Suzuki has tweaked the handling, given it larger alloys and added firmer suspension. There are also deeper bumpers, twin exhausts and a spoiler – as you'd expect from a sports model. Inside, it not only looks upmarket but you also get bucket seats, racy red trimming and plenty of standard equipment. All-in-all it's a tempting and cheaper alternative to the MINI Cooper and Ford Fiesta ST.
