Motorists on the lookout for a used Volkswagen Passat may be interested in a new review of the model’s latest incarnation the Passat BlueMotion 2.
In a four-star assessment of the Passat BlueMotion 2, Channel 4’s motoring site 4Car said that the new model "still feels fresh", despite being based on the current generation Passat.
The car’s main advantages, according to the review, include its high efficiency and low emissions levels, as well as the flexibility of its common rail fuel injection engine.
Breaking each aspect of the Passat BlueMotion 2’s performance down into different categories, 4Car gave the vehicle top marks in both the ‘running costs’ and ‘safety and security’ sections.
Standard features on the updated model include air conditioning, electronic stability control and 16-inch alloy wheels.
Motorists looking for used cars can choose from saloon, estate and coupe versions of the Volkswagen Passat, which competes in the family car market with models such as the Ford Mondeo and the Mazda 6.
