Volkswagen has introduced a new servicing package which will cover the cost of servicing for up to four years or 40,000 miles.
The automaker states that this takes it claim that the Jetta "has always represented good value for money" a "step further" owing to the lower running costs it will offer.
All VW retailers will be offering the package, which costs £250 and applies to the entire Jetta range, including the new 1.4-litre TSI model.
This new model can be used with a choice of a six-speed manual or DSG automatic gearbox and is also available with 1.6-litre petrol or 1.9 and two-litre TDI diesel engines.
"Through the use of both a supercharger and a turbocharger the new engine combines the virtues of an economical, small capacity unit with the responses and performance of a much larger engine," Volkswagen said in a statement.
A range of provisions are included in the £250 promotion, including a lubrication service at 10,000 miles or 12 months and an inspection service at 20,000 miles or 24 months. A first brake fluid change at 24 months is also incorporated into the package.
The offer will be available to all private Jetta buyers who purchase their car before March 31st 2007.
