The Toyota Verso will be getting an updated look this summer, with a more prominent front bumper and front grille that will link the model more strongly to the styling of the Yaris and Auris.
Toyota’s compact MPV will also see adjustments to its headlights and rear lamp clusters.
These changes coincide with the launch of the new SR variant of the Verso, as well as revised equipment specifications across the range.
Rear privacy glass, a rear roof spoiler and 16-inch alloy wheels will characterise the new SR model.
These features are in addition to the regular specification that comes with the Verso’s T3 grade, which will now include dual-zone climate control, a trip computer, driver and front passenger arm rests, front fog lights and cruise control.
A five-star Euro NCap safety rating has already been awarded to the Verso and the SR model will improve passenger security further by offering driver and front passenger airbags, vehicle stability control and brake assist.
The new SR range will be powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine or a 2.2-litre diesel powerplant.
