A driver who has just bought a Smart Fortwo has described the car as being "a perfect fit" for his lanky frame.
Keith Edwards, who is a member of the Tall Persons Club GB & Ireland, recalled how he opted to downsize to his Smart Fortwo Passion Cabrio when he could no longer justify the running costs of a large saloon as his company vehicle.
The business development manager for Atomic DMS (ECi2 Europe), who is a familiar sight to residents of Copplestone, near Crediton, has found that his 71hp model fits the bill when it comes to covering the 20,000 miles that he covers in a year.
The 42-year-old said: "I find it remarkably comfortable, even when Ive completed my regular round trip from Devon to my firm’s headquarters in Cambridge."
"I never tire of peoples reactions when I climb out, but it is the Smarts running costs that have really impressed and as well as saving hundreds of pounds on insurance and tax I’m using about £30 less fuel a month," he commented.
Mr Edwards also finds it handy that it only takes ten minutes to stoop down and wash his car.
