Automaker Saab is to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its first turbocharged vehicle by unveiling the Turbo X, it emerged today.
The Swedish company is set to debut the limited edition car at the Frankfurt International Motor Show, where it will show off the performance car modelled on its iconic Black Turbo models.
According to Saab, the Turbo X will deliver cutting-edge automobile technology and be the "ultimate expression of the 9-3 range".
No other details were given but a sneak peek at the design was released ahead of the motoring event.
Saab announced last month that its BioPower range of vehicles had made the company the biggest seller of flex-fuel models across the continent.
It said the sales had been led by Sweden’s demand for the eco-friendly product, where the manufacturer has sold almost 7,000 BioPower cars so far this year.
