Car manufacturer Renault has announced the price of its new Clio Renaultsport 197 Cup vehicle.
Motorists will be able to get behind the wheel of the car if they part with £14,995 – £1,000 cheaper than the standard 197.
Those who wish to preserve the pristine condition of the automobile may wish to pay an extra £150 for non-metallic white paint.
Renault commented that the relationship enjoyed between the firm and British drivers is set to grow stronger.
"The UK’s love affair with the ever-popular hot hatch is set to increase even further as Renault throws down the gauntlet to its rivals with ordering now open for the eagerly-awaited Clio Renaultsport 197 Cup," said the firm.
Production of the Renault Clio originally began in 1990 and has been going ever since.
In Japan, Honda owns the name Clio and so Renault sells the model under the name Lutecia.
