An impressive line-up of race aces past and present will appear at the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration race at the Goodwood Revival this weekend (September 19th – September 21st).
The one-hour, two driver event will be for closed-cockpit GT cars and promises to recreate the spirit of the RAC TT races that took place at Goodwood between 1960 and 1964.
Drivers confirmed to be taking part include Derek Bell, Martin Brundle, Patrick Tambay, Jean-Marc Gounon, Christian Horner, Richard Attwood and Jackie Oliver.
Brundle is best-known these days as an F1 commentator for ITV. He entered F1 at the same time as Ayrton Senna in 1984.
Bad luck prevented him from achieving a victory in a Grand Prix, but he did win the 1988 World Sportscar Championship and also the 1990 Le Mans 24-hour race.
James Knight, Bonhams international head of motor cars said: I think we can safely say this is the most valuable grid of racing cars ever assembled for any historic race anywhere."
