Porsche has announced that it is to present the new Panamera Gran Turismo to an expectant public in Shanghai in April.
The four-door car will be available for sale in the summer and, as used Porsche dealers will testify, should create a lot of interest.
The Panamera Gran Turismo will be offered with the Sports Chrono Package ramping up the car’s sporting and dynamic engine and gearshift characteristics even higher.
Meanwhile, rear-wheel drive is fitted as standard on the V6 and V8 normally-aspirated versions of the Panamera.
As if that wasn’t enough, the model is also available with the option of a brand-new, adaptive air suspension boasting additional air volume.
According to Porsche "this ensures a particularly wide range of suspension characteristics; an even higher standard of motoring comfort on the one hand and extremely sporting driving dynamics on the other".
The air suspension is capable of lowering the entire car even further towards the road when in the Sports mode, giving it a new centre of gravity.
