Peugeot has released details of what it describes as "the final silhouette in the Peugeot 207 range", the 207 SW.
The car has a full-length Cielo glass panoramic roof and a rear-seat folding mechanism, providing a flat loading area when extra load space is required.
Luggage capacity of 325 litres will be available in the new model, or 1,410 litres when the rear seats are folded down.
It will share the same wheelbase as the five-door hatchback version of the 207, but with an extra 119mm in length and 38mm in height, providing more rear headroom and interior space.
At launch, the 207 SW range will feature four engine options – two HDI diesel units of 1.6 litres, offering 90bhp and 110bhp, and two petrol powerplants of 1.4 and 1.6 litres, delivering 95bhp and 120bhp respectively.
Low fuel consumption and emissions will be ensured, according to Peugeot, without restricting performance, owing to the latest technology being employed in the car’s engines.
The 207 SW will be launched in July in S and Sport trims.
