Peugeot has announced specifications for its new 207 SW and predicted that the model will continue the range’s success story.
Over 58,000 207s are already on UK roads, according to Peugeot, and the model is currently the best-selling car in Europe.
The manufacturer is aiming the 207 SW at customers with a "full and active lifestyle", with its rear-seat folding mechanism offering loadspace of up to 1,433 litres.
A full-length ‘Cielo’ glass panoramic roof characterises the car, which will be available in two trim levels: S and Sport.
The 207 SW will share the same wheelbase as the 207 hatchback but offer an extra 119mm in length and 38mm in height, consequently providing more headroom and interior space.
Four engine options will power the range – two 1.6-litre HDI diesels offering 90bhp and 110bhp and two petrol units of 1.4 and 1.6 litres, delivering 95bhp and 120bhp respectively.
