Jaguar has announced that its XJ model has picked up the accolades to make it the best luxury user car available.
The model received top marks from the readers of Auto Trader and viewers of the ITV4 show Used Car Roadshow – prizes Jaguar sales manager Paul Stauvers called "fantastic".
In addition to these plaudits, the firm picked up the Best Luxury and Executive Car 2007 awards at a What Car? ceremony.
Jaguar UK managing director Geoff Cousins stated he was pleased with the attention the industry continues to give the vehicle.
"[It] is a fantastic car which offers customers the craftsmanship and refinement they have come to expect from a Jaguar, it continues to do well both with used and new car sales," he said.
Meanwhile, Ford has announced that it is expecting around five offers for Jaguar during the second round of bidding for the luxury brand this week.
