First Jaguar XF comes out of production

The first Jaguar XF has come off the production line in Castle Bromwich this week.

From the Midlands plant, the model will be export to 66 worldwide markets with British motor enthusiasts able to place their order now for delivery in March.

Employees gathered at the factory to watch Michael Quinn, grandson of company founder Sir William Lyons, drive the automobile from the line.

He stated that he was "thrilled" to be a part of proceedings, adding that if his grandfather was there, he "would have been immensely proud".

"The new XF is a car that truly represents the core values which have lain at the heart of this great brand since its foundation in 1922," he said.

Earlier this month, the company launched the XF at the Middle East International Motor Show, held at Dubai’s World Trade Centre from November 14th to November 18th.
