James Baggott, Car Dealer magazine Editor, championed:
“These awards are the only industry gongs voted for by those that matter the most, the dealers. Hyundai has obviously worked hard on forging an impressive partnership with its dealers as they’ve voted the manufacturer as the best to represent in the UK. It’s an impressive achievement and represents a jump from 12th place in last year’s survey!”
Tony Whitehorn, president & CEO, Hyundai UK added:
“This is a hugely significant award for our business as it recognises the hard work and effort of our team here in the UK. The UK business is growing daily driven by the fantastic new products that we are bringing to the market place but that growth would not be possible without a robust team and a strong dealer network.”
Over the course of the last 12 months, Hyundai UK sales grew by an impressive 11.38%. The UK arm of the Korean company sold 35,000 cars last year, 15% of all European sales.
Darren Preston of VCARS also commented on used Hyundai sales:
“This news is not surprising as we have also noticed that used Hyundai’s are not staying on the market as long as some of their competing models.”
Darren also pointed out recent used Hyundai prices which are good prices at the minute for decent models.[related_posts]
