Motor company Honda is a candidate for a prize in this year’s Precision Marketing Response Awards.
The magazine has revealed that the car firm will battle it out with Cancer Research UK, Guinness, Apple, E-on and Yahoo for the title of best brand.
It seems that some of the motor group’s unique television advertisements have drawn the attention of the marketing industry.
It is the 13th year that the awards have been running and Precision Marketing states that the winners are judged by some of the top names in the marketing field.
Honda will find out if it has been successful at a ceremony at the London Hilton, Park Lane, on Tuesday April 29th.
Earlier this month, Honda launched a new brand campaign that highlights a number of the firm’s engineering innovations developed to have less impact on the environment.
Ian Armstrong, Honda UK communications manager, said: "For the past few years our campaigns have told different stories about Honda. This campaign takes this [idea]to the next level."
