Nice unveils new electric cars

London’s electric car company No Internal Combustion Engine (Nice) has just unveiled some new electric cars at the London Motor Show’s electric vehicle village.

These included a stylish two-seater from Hong Kong called the MyCar which has a price tag of just £8,995.

Motor enthusiasts can also get an eyeful of the five seat Ze-O, a family electric MPV priced from just £13,995.

Nice is keen to stress that sales of its four-seat Mega City are still brisk.

Starting from £11,500, Mega City drivers can feel the benefit of motoring at just 2p per mile – all without the hassle of congestion charges, road tax and high parking fees within the capital.

Nice co-founder Evert Geurtsen was disappointed by the lack of presence of more mainstream car manufactures in the London show’s electric vehicle village.

He said: "It’s easy to get caught up in talk of an electric car revolution.

"However, we’d be very surprised if many of the all-electric sports cars, and other models that have been making headlines, hit showrooms within forecast time frames."
