Young drivers in the UK can benefit from a new insurance product.
The clickthepepper company categorises motorists into three areas and offers them deals based on their age and experience.
It also offers people the chance to gain cover to driver any car below insurance class 15 while still holding a provisional licence.
The product comes as the result of "extensive research into the young driver marketplace", commented company representative Duncan Aspden.
He added that the idea is "in tune" with young people and represents a sector of the industry which is not often catered for.
"Not only did we find that they were under-represented within the insurance sector but penalised simply because they were young," said Mr Aspden.
The current age from which it is legal to learn to drive an automobile in the UK is 17, although motorists must be accompanied by an adult with at least five years of experience on the road.
