It proved to be a flourishing night for the Audi A4 at the recent Fleet News Awards, as the vehicle was successful in two categories.
As well as being crowned the ‘Best Large Premium Car’, the A4 was also voted as the ‘Company Car of the Year’.
The award ceremony was held in London, with a panel of industry experts having the unenviable task of deciding which vehicles were most deserving of the individual awards.
Former chief executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Christopher Macgowan chaired the awards and he was impressed by what he saw.
He said: "Despite the difficulties being faced by the fleet industry, this years awards attracted high-quality entries.
"The theme running through many of them was innovation, safety and environmental awareness, which bodes well for the future."
Top Gear highlighted in a review of the Audi A4 that the vehicle is "brilliant", with the comfort provided "so much better than A4s of old".
