Fiat vans to be “strongly represented” at CV Show

Fiat UK will have strong representation at this year’s Commercial Vehicle (CV) Show at the Birmingham NEC, the automaker has said.

There will be no fewer than five versions of Fiat’s new Ducato range, including two conversions, on display, along with four variants from the recently launched Scudo range and two members of the Doblo Cargo line.

Among the Scudo models on show will be two vans with ‘comfort’ trim level, one with a 1.6-litre, 90bhp MultiJet engine and the other with a two-litre, 120bhp unit. There will also be a Scudo Combi and Scudo Panorama Family on exhibit, both with a two-litre, 120bhp engine.

Fiat’s new Ducato panel van range will feature at the show. This line is designed to be the most versatile in its segment, Fiat reports, encompassing panel van, dropside truck and crew cab truck variants.

One trim level is available in the Ducato range, which incorporates a "comprehensive" selection of standard equipment, including variable power steering, remote central locking with deadlocks, ABS brakes, a dual-stage driver’s airbag and electric windows.

Rounding off Fiat’s line-up at the CV show will be two versions from the Doblo Cargo range – a 1.9 MultiJet diesel with an optional high roof and a 1.3 MultiJet with a 16-valve turbodiesel engine.

According to the manufacturer, the Doblo Cargo range offers "class-leading payload and load volume", as well as "powerful yet economical" engines and "high levels of safety, comfort and ergonomics allied to low fuel consumption and operating costs".
