Michael Schumacher was on hand for the unveiling of the new Ferrari 430 Scuderia at the Frankfurt International Motor Show.
The model is a special series edition developed for the firm’s "most passionate clients".
Formula 1 legend Schumacher may count as an enthusiast for the Prancing Horse car manufacturer, having captured a number of world championships while driving their vehicles.
Ferrari added that Schumacher was involved in the production of the 430 Scuderia, resulting in the most advanced single-seater technology it has released.
"Lightweight, simple and striking with a distinctive engine and exhaust sound: every last detail of the Ferrari 430 Scuderia exudes uncompromising sportiness as a direct result of its close links to the world of racing," the company commented.
Over the course of his racing career, Schumacher won 91 races, 68 pole positions and 76 fastest lap times, racking up some 1,369 driver championship points.
