Citroen’s latest MPV – the seven-seat Grand C4 Picasso – officially goes on sale in the UK this weekend.
The model has been widely acclaimed in the industry, winning 4×4 and MPV Driver magazine’s ‘MPV of the year’ award and also being named Top Gear magazine’s family car of the year.
Citroen states that the new vehicle, which has already sold 25,000 models in mainland Europe, sets “new standards for the class”.
“The Grand C4 Picasso boasts distinctive good looks, an exceptionally light interior that is dominated by a huge panoramic windscreen, class-leading interior space and a remarkably easy to use folding seat system,” the automaker said in a statement.
Among the other features of the MPV, which has a five-star EuroNCAP rating, is an air quality sensor, a parking space measurement system and pneumatic rear suspension.
Retail prices for the Grand C4 Picasso start at under £15,000, with seven airbags, traction control, hill start assist, a speed limiter, cruise control and an automatic electric parking brake all coming as standard.
Citroen is also offering a zero per cent finance deal to buyers, which it claims could allow them to save thousands of pounds.
