When it was first released, the Suzuki Grand Vitara was a fantastic mix of off road ability, compact size and affordability, and was a trailblazer in the burgeoning compact SUV class. Today competition is fiercer than ever, and while the Grand Vitara is no longer as much of a class leader as it once was, it is still rugged and capable off road, yet does struggle with a lack of refinement on it.
