Once a giant of rally racing, Subaru's passenger cars have sometimes struggled for room in an incredibly crowded market. However, their mix of all-wheel drive power, unique sporty style and rugged functionality has made sure they manage to stand out.
Subaru Overview
The Subaru Impreza, although no longer in production, is arguably the most stand out model in the range, mixing performance, sport-style and a somewhat raucous reputation. The XV is a more recent crossover SUV that is far more practical than its sporty sibling, performs well, and offers good off road ability. The Forrester is much the same, but with added ability, if a little less style. The mid-sized exec Legacy is a bit more refined than the two SUVs, but manages to be spacious and practical. With the Impreza no longer in production, Subaru might not have as identifying a flagship as it once did, nor the same life, but it remains a reliable and practical option.
