Skoda have over the past ten years consistently released cars furthering their reputation as a manufacturer of understated class. The Fabia, introduced in 2000, did much to get the ball rolling. An exciting supermini which shares a platform with the VW Golf, it is agile, practical and stylish. Upping the luxury and size, the interestingly named Superb saloon just about lives up to its name in terms of refinement and maturity, while on the more practical end of the scale is the Roomster, a unique looking MPV with serious space. The crossover Yeti mixes the versatility of an SUV with the fun of a hatchback, and having been voted Britain's favourite car in 2013 - one of three Skodas in the top ten - shows just how far the one-time laughing stock of the car industry has come.
