The beginning of their current success came in 1983, with the launch of the small city car the 205 - predecessor to the subsequently successful 206, 207, and today's 208. Mixing efficiency, chic design and nimble handling, their supermini output has since the 205 proved to be consistently excellent. A step smaller than the 208, the 107 is the sister car to the Citroen C1 and Toyota Aygo, and so benefits from a collaboration between some of the best engineering in the industry. Although now venturing out into the crossover market (with the recently released 3008 and 2008), for many Peugeot will always be a brand which produces some of the best city cars on the roads. Stylish and efficient, even after a century of car manufacturing Peugeot continue to excel at it.
