Now in its eighth generation, the Accord has, since its release in 1976, been Honda's leading family saloon option for nearly 40 years. Relatively spacious, refined and in its newer generations growing ever better equipped and technological, the Accord is a solid family saloon which is both practically suited to family needs, and comfortable enough (particularly in the latest generation) to be a motorway cruiser; where it is most at home. The 2.2 litre diesel is the flagship of the range, and offers better performance than the 2.0 litre (which can feel a little sluggish) and better value than the more expensive 2.4 litre range-topper.
