First unveiled in 2006, the Galaxy wasn't the first MPV to come onto the market, but it has arguably come to embody the class better than any other. It being an MPV, space is abundant, with seven seats and plenty of storage room (when the rearmost seats are folded down). This is by no means unique in its market, yet the agile drive - which gives it the feel of a smaller car rather than a van - makes it far more fun and nimble than many of its competitors. Luckily this doesn't come at the expense of the ride, which remains calm and refined, particularly in the turbocharged 2.0 litre petrol engine.
