Volkswagen recalls special white Beetles

Dealers have begun to contact the 510 owners of the new 2008 special edition two-door, hardtopped, Volkswagen Beetle coloured ‘triple white’.
The recall is due to "the use of an incorrect adhesive to attach the roof spoiler to the rear glass of the vehicle".
This could lead to the spoiler becoming detached – which, at speed, could be potentially dangerous to pedestrians and oncoming traffic.
The recall will start on February 29th.
