Vauxhall is preparing for what is forecast to be another hot summer by offering a new version of its convertible Astra TwinTop.
The manufacturer claimed that it is making it easier for "style-conscious" buyers to enjoy the new Exclusiv Black model by adding new options at a lower price than the previous version.
Among the additions to the Design trim level are heated seats, cruise control, 18-inch alloy wheels and black leather trim. Despite these options ordinarily costing an extra £1,200, the new TwinTop will be £1,200 cheaper than the model on which it is based.
Standard features of the Design model, such as the three-piece electro-hydraulic roof, ESP, automatic rollover bars, black facia trim, rain-sensitive wipers and automatic headlamps are all still available with the Exclusiv Black.
The car will come in two exterior colours – pearlescent black sapphire to match the interior or vibrant red.
A choice of three engines will come with the range – a 1.8-litre VVT petrol, a "frugal and punchy" 1.9CDTI diesel and a two-litre petrol turbo.
