Some big name artists will be making their way to Brick Lane in the middle of June to show off their artistic creativity on a range of vehicles from the Vauxhall fleet.
The Truman Brewery is to host the Vauxhall Art Car and Boot Fair on June 14th, with artists including Sir Peter Blake and Gavin Turk set to make an appearance.
Among the paintings planned are Natasha Law transferring her line drawings onto the contours of a Vauxhall Astra Sport Hatch and Donald Urqhuart getting creative with another Astra.
Meanwhile, Rubbish Magazine will also be kept busy as it attempts to turn a black Vauxhall Corsa into a designer handbag.
As well as having the opportunity to buy from an art auction, which opens up with prices for as little as £1, visitors can also enjoy food from The Bath Pig, which specialises in cured meats.
Curator Karen Ashton said: "We always knew it was going to get bigger and better each time, but this year the artists are really taking it to another level."
The event is an Ashton and Hayward production.
