Skoda ‘delivering more to customers’

Posted in Skoda news on July 27th, 2007

Czech manufacturing firm Skoda has revealed it delivered more cars to customers in the first half of this year than in the same period last year, which represents a "very positive trend" according to the group.

Maker of models such as the Fabia and Octavia, Skoda’s cars may be ideal for growing families or newer drivers looking for a suitable vehicle.

The company said it had delivered 311,062 automobiles to its customers in the first half of the year - a growth of 13.2 per cent from the corresponding period in 2006.

It also claimed that the launch of its second-generation Fabia had much to do with the general rise in demand for Skodas.

Meanwhile, the manufacturer celebrated the 20th anniversary of the release of its first Favorit model this month.
