‘Strong residual values’ the key to Seat’s success

The strong residual value of Seat cars will be one of the factors that make the company well-placed to have a successful 2009.

That is the opinion of Seat’s UK head of marketing Steve Robertson, who gave his opinion as the Spanish manufacturer announced a series of price cuts to their models.

Used Seat dealers have long known about the ranges’ strong residual values and will be heartened that the cars’ reputation will be enhanced even further by a series of tempting offers.

For instance, the Leon Stylance, which was priced at £15,220, now has a £2,000 discount.

Other cars such as the Altea Stylance, Altea Freetrack and the environmentally-friendly Ibiza Ecomotive have also had their prices ripped up and better ones put in their place.

Mr Robertson said: "We’ve devised the Seat Revolution offers to very clearly underline the already impressive proposition our cars make to private buyers."

The special offers will run for just a few weeks, if you miss out you could always buy a used Seat instead.
