Peugeot has announced that it is updating its 107 range with a "racy look" for the "young and young at heart".

The manufacturer’s popular entry-model will be available with a new three-door, Sport XS trim, which it claims will suit drivers looking for a more personalised vehicle.

Peugeot described the new 107 Sport XS as a "combination of distinctive appearance with great value". The model will also be available in four colour combinations.

Drivers can select from diamond white with red stripes, laser red with white stripes, black metallic with red stripes or grey metallic with graphite stripes.

Other specification features on the vehicle include 14-inch, six-spoke alloy wheels, a rev counter, front bumper spoilers, door mirror housings and a twin sports exhaust system.

Inside the car is a leather-trimmed steering wheel with red stitching, a red sports gearknob, a red finish to the centre console and air vent surrounds.
