Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution owners sought for world record attempt

Posted in Lancer news on June 27th, 2008

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution owners club are trying to create a world record for the largest number of ‘Evos’ forming a parade in a single place.

The event will take place at the Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire on Saturday July 12th.

Darin Frow, chairman of the Mitsubishi Lancer Register (MLR), said: "The World Record attempt came about after one of our members asked what had been the largest number of Evo’s ever seen in one place?

"That was a year ago, and since then the idea has captured the imagination and enthusiasm of everyone within the MLR, and beyond."

Over 300 owners are already signed to take part and Mitsubishi will be providing some of their models too. A representative from the Guinness Book will be on hand to audit the final numbers, and to make an instant decision about the viability of the record attempt.

To take part contact 0845 12 526237.
