Fans of the Mini - and there may be more than a few out there - might be excited to see a preview of the Clubman, which is the next model to complement the manufacturer’s range.

At 24 cm longer than the standard Hatch vehicle, the Clubman has more space for rear passengers and split rear doors which open out into a bigger boot.

It could be useful for those who have a growing family or simply need more space - but who also love the design and extensive range of features available with the Mini range.

The manufacturer has announced that the Clubman will hit UK showrooms on November 10th and will come in three engine choices - the Cooper D, Cooper and Cooper S - with prices starting from £14,235 on the road.

Additionally, those that like style as well as substance can choose from 12 exterior colours, including Hot Chocolate, which is a new shade available exclusively in the Clubman range.

The Mini was redesigned in 2001 and offered as a convertible option in 2005.
