The Mini Convertible is set to make its UK comeback on March 29th next year, it has been revealed.
Mini Copper and Cooper S soft-top versions of the famous British car will be put on sale, both of which will feature ground-breaking engine technologies.
The announcement will no doubt be well-received by British car owners, as the first version of the Mini Convertible performed strongly in the UK small convertible sales sector between 2004 and 2008.
Indeed, world-wide demand is expected to be healthy as 164,000 first-generation Mini Convertibles have been sold across the globe.
The new Mini Convertibles promise to be sportier than their predecessor, but also come with a single-piece roll bar behind the rear seats to improve passenger safety.
Rear passengers will also be able to raise or lower their headrests to suit.
Mini Cooper Convertibles will cost £15,995 and Cooper S Convertibles £18,995.
Minis featured in the recent remake of the Italian Job, the iconic film which originally starred Michael Caine.
