In 2007 Maserati launched the Gran Turismo in Geneva, and Maserati will use the 2008 event to showcase the Gran Turismo S.
The Gran Turismo S will use a 440hp V8 4.7 engine and an electro-actuated gearbox with fast MC-shift, laid-out across the transaxle.
Meanwhile, the exterior has been modified to give it a sportier look and the interior leather seats have a new feel.
The S version of the Gran Turismo also uses the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S’s front brake discs made with a dual casting of cast iron and aluminium, paired with aluminium mono-bloc 6-piston brake callipers.
Maserati, established in Bologna in 1914, has been owned by the Italian car giant Fiat since 1993.
