Posted in Generic trend stories news on December 12th, 2007

Plans for the British International Motor Show next year have been revealed.

Event organisers will introduce new features for 2008, including a Kidz Car Zone for youngsters and Drift School, which sees visitors driven sideways around a circuit.

Those who have visited in the past will also be able to revisit attractions from previous shows, including the Motor Theatre stunt show and 4×4 Experience.

Kirsty Perkinson, marketing director for the event, stated that car companies have "responded positively" to plans.

She said: "We are delighted that so many have already signed up to attend. We expect to increase the number of world vehicle debuts, building on the 14 unveilings in 2006."

Automobile enthusiasts can visit the show at ExCeL London from July 23rd 2008 to August 3rd 2008.

Meanwhile, Suzuki is looking to unveil its compact A-Star concept vehicle at the New Delhi Motor Show, with production set to begin in India in October 2008.
