Second-hand Fords have proven particularly popular among buyers at a recent car auction.
Held by British Car Auctions (BCA) at a Nottingham site, the event was made up by Ford main dealers and independent traders.
Ford’s S-Max and Galaxy vehicles proved to be the most attractive among investors, ranging in value between £15,000 and £18,700 and £15,100 to £21,900.
Both cars retained value well, with the five or seven-seat S-Max holding almost four-fifths of its value, compared to 72.6 per cent by the Galaxy, reports Auto Express.
With the cars on sale having driven an average of 2,000 miles, Alan Gupwell, national remarketing manager of the BCA, said that both would "continue to sell well second-hand".
He added: "Ford’s models are highly sought after at BCA and this clearly reflects the exceptional retail demand being reported by dealers."
Other vehicles which appeared attractive to buyers included Ford’s Focus, Mondeo, Fiesta and the Focus C-Max.
