Ford TeamRS, the high-performance centre, has developed a new Focus. It
contains a 225 PS, 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder Duratec engine
which can achieve 0-62mph acceleration in just 6.8 seconds, and can top
speeds of up to 150 mph.
Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) and Traction Control, standard on all Focus models, is accompanied by a ’sharp’ braking and ’subtle’ suspension enhancement.
The Focus ST also includes 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, sports styling and body-hugging Recaro sports seats.
The Focus ST goes on sale from May 1st.
