The new Fiat 500 was given a sky-high launch in London on Sunday.

The vehicle will now revolve around London for a two-week spell, in which in will clock up 84 miles.

Fiat managing director Andrew Humberstone states that that the company is proud to have thrown the vehicle "a party to remember".

"We are confident that this car, with it stylish looks, economical consumption figures, outstanding safety features and ‘green’ credentials, will win a place in everyone’s hearts," he said.

The original two-door coupe Fiat 500 was produced by the Italian vehicle manufacturer between 1957 and 1975.

It remains a vehicle which redefined the term small car, while it is also considered one of the original city cars.
