Following on from the transforming Citroen car, which turned into a robot, and the Ford Focus orchestra, which converted car parts into musical instruments, Citroen launched a competition to find new uses for car spares - C-Design - Combine, Connect, Create.
The winner, Ognyan Bozhilov from Bulgaria, has won a €10,000 first prize for his design of a toboggan using a C4 Picasso’s rear seat, a C3 steering wheel, a C3 Pluriel’s roof pillars and the spoiler from a C4 Coupe.
His design, and the top ten finalists’, have all been constructed and shown at the Milan International Design Exhibition.
Second prize went to the use of a single part - a C4’s alloy rim converted into a drain cover - and was won by Roland Kaufmann from Austria.
