Isuzu launches new accessory range

Isuzu has launched a range of accessories for its new Rodeo 4×4, the model launched in April this year.

According to the manufacturer Rodeo drivers will now be "spoilt for choice" when looking for accessories. The new additions come in luxury, styling and practical categories and carry the same three-year/60,000-mile warranty as the vehicle itself.

For drivers who want to enhance the appearance of their Rodeo, a selection of chrome and stainless steel items has been launched, including a chrome mesh grille.

A stainless steel rear sports-bar is also included in the range, along with a chrome bonnet trim and chrome tailgate trim.

Aluminium side steps will be made available to make access to the pick-up easier and also enhance its aesthetic appeal, while an under-rail bed liner kit will also be on offer to protect the 4×4′s load area.

For "safe and secure" towing, a top-of-the-range tow bar has also been designed.

The Rodeo is capable of towing weights of up to 3,000kg and has long service intervals of 12,000 miles, which Isuzu ascribes to their "clean and efficient" engine combustion system.

Prices for the model start from £13,999.

Isuzu Rodeo gets an “extensive facelift”

Isuzu has announced that the 2007 version of its Rodeo has been boosted with a new 2.5-litre common rail diesel engine and an "extensive facelift".

A range of benefits will result from the upgrades, including a new fuel economy rate of 39.8mpg on an extra urban cycle – 4.9mpg better than the old three-litre model.

Carbon emissions have also been reduced to 213g/km, compared to the previous level of 243g/km, despite the Rodeo now being able to achieve a top speed of 102mph.

All Rodeo 07 models will include safety features which, according to Isuzu, are normally found only in cars, such as ABS, twin front airbags, door intrusion beams, front and rear crush zones and three-point seatbelts for all occupants.

Among the aesthetic elements of the entry model in this line are 16-inch alloy wheels, electro-luminescent instruments and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The front end of the 4×4 has also been redesigned, with a new bonnet, intercooler intake, bumper, wings and grille, while the rear side panels have been revised with smoother contours.

Isuzu’s full range will comprise the Rodeo, Rodeo Denver Max and the Denver Max LE.
