Luxury carmaker Bentley has revealed the specifications of its new Continental GT Speed model – the most powerful production car ever made, according to the company.

A nine per cent increase in power gives the vehicle a top speed of 202 mph, making it a sure-fire hit for those who really like to put their foot down.

Capable of zero to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds, it also has an enhanced chassis and improved steering responses with bespoke Pirelli tyres.

Stylistically, Bentley has made a few changes which distinguish it from the traditional Continental GT, including wider sports exhaust tail pipes and diamond-quilted hide on seat facings and panels.

Buyers can also choose from two new exterior colours – Cumbrian green and granite – which could make the car the ultimate luxury purchase for those who are lucky enough.

The Luxury Launches website recently published pictures of a 2007 Bentley Continental GTC DUB which it claimed was a present from Tom Cruise to Victoria Beckham.
