Some features in the design of the newest addition to the Audi A4 range have helped the vehicle have a greater off-road appeal.

From May, the Audi A4 Allroad Quattro will become available across European showrooms and offers some significant changes to the A4 Avant.

Among these changes are that the Quattro is both longer and taller.

Furthermore, prospective buyers will have the choice between either a petrol or two diesel engines, with a 2.0 TFSI petrol available alongside a 2.0-litre Common Rail diesel or a V6 diesel.

The addition of vigorous insert strips to the wheel arches and side sills help to boost the vehicle’s off-road appeal, while the Quattro’s fenders are more flared.

On the underside, a solid, stainless steel bodyguard has been selected for both the front and rear to help protect the vehicle for the potential rough terrain it may face.

Features such as 3-zone climate control, 18-inch wheels and innovative storage solutions also are a part of the Audi A4 Allroad Quattro.
