The Audi A4 Allroad may prove to be the most comfortable vehicle available in the A4 Avant range, according to a review of the vehicle.

Channel Four highlighted that the Allroad has additional ground clearance as a result of the inclusion of longer springs and this may help the smoothness of the ride.

The publication revealed that its road test of the A4 Allroad took place on smooth roads and that "the Allroad proved to be a little more supple than the rest of the A4 Avant range".

Meanwhile, it is also stated that few complaints can be made about what the vehicle offers on the inside with the A4 continuing to "lead the class for fit, feel and finish".

Audi also launched the vehicle with three engine choices – two diesels and a petrol – with the most powerful being the 3.0 TDI.

This is capable of accelerating to 62 miles per hour from still in a useful 6.6 seconds.

Overall, the publications believed the Audi A4 Allroad’s biggest assets are its "butch looks", alongside "fine fuel consumption".
